Behind everything we see and experience in Second Life lies a fascinating intersection of creativity and technology.
I started this blog to cover my experiences in Second Life – from exploring other residents’ creations to discussing what works and what doesn’t. I’ll share news, tips, and thoughts about important Second Life changes, as well as privacy and security issues that affect our community.
My goal is ultimately to start honest conversations about both the good and bad in our virtual world.
Below are some of the topics you can expect to see here on the blog:
- Second Life updates – both the good changes and the potential problems they create
- Cool and amazing stuff other residents build, and the technical limits they deal with
- Privacy and security tips, from basic safety to larger issues and investigation pieces
- What the community is talking about
- Guides for new and experienced residents alike
One of the few things that you will likely not be finding here is coverage of sales and sales-focused events. There are many other really great blogs out there covering these things specifically – and to be really honest with you, it’s definitely not my area of expertise, nor something that I particularly devote a lot of my thoughts toward.
I strongly believe that meaningful conversations start when we’re willing to look at both the bright and shadowy aspects of our virtual world. By sharing experiences, raising questions, and looking closer at issues that affect us all, I think we can all contribute to a more informed and engaged Second Life community.
This blog isn’t just for my voice – it’s an invitation to discuss, debate, think, and explore together. Whatever your role in Second Life might be, I hope you’ll find some content here that speaks to your interests and… just maybe, challenges your perspectives.
